Mexico hosted a series of significant cultural events. The fifth edition of the International Laughter Festival «Petit Festival Internacional de la Risa 2025» took place at the Centro Cultural del Bosque. The organizers believe that the work of clowns can lead to «social healing» through laughter. The National Center of the Arts held its traditional «Feria de las Calacas» to celebrate the Day of the Dead. The Palace of Autonomy of the UNAM Foundation also presented its Christmas edition of the «Feria del Mundo». Mexico also celebrated the «Fête de la Musique» music festival, which is held annually on June 21st, coinciding with the summer solstice. This festival, which originated in France, is now celebrated in about 120 countries worldwide and maintains the principle of free admission. The «Mulato Teatro» company organized the First International Afro-Scenic Festival, which served as a platform for numerous events, including the International Piano Cycle, the International Classical Guitar Cycle, the Mezcal and Beer Festival, as well as literary and art discussions. The city of Zacatecas hosted the XXXVII Zacatecas Cultural Festival 2025, while the magical town of Real de Catorce in San Luis Potosi was the stage for the «Desierto, Alma y Rock Vol. VIII–A» festival. In the Parque Naucalli, the «Feria del Mundo» was held, with the participation of over 40 countries. Mexico also celebrated the International Piano Day «Piano Day», created 10 years ago by the German pianist Nils Frahm. Throughout the year, numerous meetings and festivals took place, including the National Percussion Meeting «Percusiva 2025», the «Primavera en Chapultepec» festival, the tenth «San Patricio Fest», and various editions of the «Café & Chocolate Fest». The capital also hosted the «Festival of Black Dances: Afroindigenous Reflections», in which more than 300 artists and academics from Brazil, Cuba, Colombia, and Mexico participated. In the Xochimilco area, the immersive show «Supernatural: Sinister Rituals of the Witches of Xochimilco» was presented. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Urtext Digital Classics record label, the sixth edition of the free Urtext 2025 festival was held, dedicated to Mexican baroque music. In 2005, the first «La Esquina del Blues y otras músicas» festival took place for the first time in history at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Mexico City.

The year 2025 in Mexico was marked by a multitude of vibrant cultural events: from the International Laughter Festival and Day of the Dead fair to music celebrations and theater performances. The country's capital and other cities became platforms for hundreds of artists and thousands of spectators.
